COMPUTING

My involvement into computing dates back to the late 70's where i got access to an Siemens mainframe running BS2000. During this time i introduced my self to computer programing (Basic, Algol 60 and Fortran) by implementing different sorts of simulations without having to much of theretical background.

From this time on i followed the development of the hardware by building my self a TV based terminal connecting it to an INTERSIL board (1K ROM, 256 Byte main memory) with a PDP8 like CPU; a ZX80; Color Genie; the first PC, XT, NT towards todays hardware (3GHz Dual Core, 4MB main memory, 1TByte diskspace). Going along with the hardware evolution i evolved from using assembler via C, Ada, Lisp to todays languages like Java and C#.

You will find below the major domains where i am currently active in!

My legacy projects (specially Ada 95 projects) and other interesting information can be found in the software archive.

My Datacenter

This project is supposed to provide a reasonable computing infrastructure at a low budget.
